Festival of Colors!

We went to the festival of colors at the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork on Saturday, and let me just say, IT WAS CRAZY! A small explanation is that this is a religious ceremony they have at the temple every year. Thousands of people show up. They sell chalk in about every bright color that you can imagine before it starts. After they do a little cermony down on the stage, everyone start throwing the chalk. This year they sold 25,000 bags of chalk. So as you can imagine, we were COVERED from head to toe with chalk. Our friend Brent brought us some masks to help us breath...LUCKILY!
This is us in the aftermath. The place was complete chaos...but it was really fun!

I'm trying to figure out how I can do a fashion color at the salon that looks like this. Don't tell me you wouldn't want to pay $75 to make your hair look like this!

That is insane but sounds fun. So are you going to go back every year? You look SO good, not all the chalk but you looks so happy and holy crap you lost a TON of weight. Way to go. I should try to be more like my momma. :)
