Festival of Colors!

We went to the festival of colors at the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork on Saturday, and let me just say, IT WAS CRAZY! A small explanation is that this is a religious ceremony they have at the temple every year. Thousands of people show up. They sell chalk in about every bright color that you can imagine before it starts. After they do a little cermony down on the stage, everyone start throwing the chalk. This year they sold 25,000 bags of chalk. So as you can imagine, we were COVERED from head to toe with chalk. Our friend Brent brought us some masks to help us breath...LUCKILY!
This is us in the aftermath. The place was complete chaos...but it was really fun!

I'm trying to figure out how I can do a fashion color at the salon that looks like this. Don't tell me you wouldn't want to pay $75 to make your hair look like this!

Surprise Visitors

We had some surprise visitors last week. My sister, Angela and her two kids Jaxton and Gabby showed up unnanounced from the Philipines(where they live). We were so excited when we got the phone call that they were in Utah that we drove up to Layton and had dinner with them. These pictures are from when they drove to Provo for their mom and my mom to get their hair done. We went to lunch at Magleby's and I couldn't resist getting their cute pictures when they were sitting in this window.

He's squezzing her cheeks in this picture...even though it kind of looks like he's got his hand around her neck!
They're so cute.
